Sit n Go

A sit n go, also spelled as sit and go, is a fast and unscheduled poker tournament. Being unscheduled, the game starts once all the seats are filled. With just the name as a clue, you already get an idea that it will not take long for you to actually sit and then go.

Because it is a sit n go, the tournament does not last that long. Some tournaments do not even last an hour. The speed does make it difficult to estimate the number of hands or rounds that will be played. This is because the number of rounds is dependent on the staying power of players. In the said tournament, players can drop out at any time.

Because the speed of the tournament can be quite intense, the sit and go is also recommended to those who do not really want to spend so much time playing poker but want to try a hand or two.
